RAWHIDE is a five-piece band specializing in a blend of Country/Western music with Rock and Pop influences. Their musical repertoire boasts a wide range of classics, cover tunes and a host of original songs. The band has performed professionally at a variety of levels and events all over the Western United States; with state fairs in Oregon, Idaho and Utah, and rodeos (in Wyoming and Nevada). RAWHIDE has also played an array of dances, concerts, benefits, and festivals, winning over a large fan base with their musicality, onstange humor, and their heartfelt original songs. They are also regulars at some of the larger country/western night clubs along the Wasatch Front.

  LOREEN ALLPHIN
Loreen Allphin may be RAWHIDE’s secret weapon; while warmly blanketing each song with her acoustic guitar, her lovely voice sings her own, disarmingly honest, lyrics.  Loreen has extensive professional musical experience.  For the past fifteen years, she has sung in festivals such as the Festival of the American West, the Canyon Country Western Arts Festival, and the Utah Arts Festival.  Loreen has also played clubs and concerts in Branson, MO and Nashville, TN.  Her Nashville release (Faster – with HGW and Thunder Moon Records), showcases Loreen’s musical versatility.

  DANIEL FERGUSON
Shining through on lead guitar is Daniel Ferguson.  Daniel has vast experience playing a variety of genres.   Before lending his dynamic licks to RAWHIDE’s music, he backed several professional recording artists. Where Loreen’s soaring vocals end, Daniel’s well-honed guitar begins.

BOBBY BROWN
On back-up vocals and stealing the show on keyboards is Bobby Brown.  Bobby recently joined RAWHIDE, but is a veteran of the country music scene. Most notably, Bobby was a part of the MCA recording group, Wolverine Canyon, who hit the charts in the late eighties.  He has performed all over the United States, including performances on the Grand Old Opry Stage.

  JOE DOBESH
Joe Dobesh (bass) and “Big” Jimmy Wright (drums) make up the rhythm section for the band.  They keep the band in time and the crowd dancing.  Both small town boys, they have a love and an appreciation for country music and years of playing experience in Texas and all over the western United States.
